Can you help me with warranty repairs?
Captain’s supplies goods from reputable manufacturers who warrant their products against defects for at least one year.  Some makers have extended warranties.  Please consult the product information that came with the item.  While Captain’s is not a warranty repair station for its various manufacturer/suppliers, Captain’s policy is to assist customers in obtaining warranty repair as needed, if a product fails prematurely.  If it is convenient to bring the item into the store, we will ship it back to the manufacturer, if need by, at our expense, and use our influence, to encourage the manufacturer to provide good warranty service to our customers.  If getting the product needing warranty repair back to us involves packaging and shipping, it may be more expeditious to send the item directly to the manufacturer.  In any event, we suggest you call the manufacturer first to see if they can provide a “fix” for the problem short of sending the entire unit back to them or to us.  Most manufacturers have technical support troubleshooters very familiar with the product to help you through a problem.
