Highly reliable dial-type thermometer has scales for degrees F. and C, with markings every two degrees from -8 to +130 degrees F. Preadjusted in a temperature controlled environment.
The Martinique series is popular because the movement and dial are mounted on the hinged bezel enabling the user to gain instant access to the back of the movement to change a battery, set the time, silence the bells, or set the barometer. A Twist-lock latching dog reminiscent of sailing ship portholes secures the bezel closed, but enables speedy access. On the 8-day key wound clock this system provides quick access to the clock dial to wind, silence the bells, or set the time. This eliminates unscrewing and rethreading a screw-on bezel.

This collection features the same precision movements as our other Weems & Plath instruments. The hinged bezel case is constructed of high quality solid cast brass with a flawless coat of lacquer to ensure a lasting shine. The instruments in the Flag Collection have striking full color signal flags against a traditional white dial background. Each instrument is provided with complete instructions, mounting hardware, and a fresh battery as required. All instruments carry a lifetime warranty, except the quartz ship's bell clock, which carries a two-year warranty.
