The Chrome Endurance 125 mm Time and Tide Clock features a combination quartz and tide clock movement which averages the Atlantic lunar tide cycle. The easy to read dial, maintenance free finish and weatherproof construction make this time and tide clock one of our most popular.
The tide function is most accurate for the east coast of the United States where tides follow a fairly regular pattern through the lunar month. On the Pacific Coast, the clock will still accurately tell the time of day, but the tide function will be very inaccurate at some times of the month, and fairly close to actual tide movements at other times of the month due to the eccentricities of the Pacific Ocean Basin tide movements, unless the tide hand is manually reset every few days.
